Minnesota State Fair Scavenger Hunt
Come and visit the Minnesota State Fair with International Student Outreach!  Bring your international student friends who are interested too!  We are going to be enjoying a fun day while exploring all there is to see at the fair! This is a great opportunity to get to know ISO as well as to meet many new International and American students from the U of MN!  The Minnesota State Fair is known as the "Great Minnesota Get-Together" so let's get together, meet new friends and have some fun!!!
How this event will work:
We will meet at 11:30am SHARP at the Maranatha Campus House (315 10th Avenue SE).  We will go over the rules to the scavenger hunt at this time and answer any questions you may have.  We will leave the campus house by 12noon.  We will break up into teams of 4-6 people then travel to the State Fair.  Each team will be given a guide that will help them earn “points”, while leading them to things they can find, see, and do at the fair.  The team that accumulates the most points by the end of the day will win a fabulous prize!  We will all meet up at 7:00pm and head back to the campus house where we will have an awards ceremony for the winning teams, view fun photo's from the day, eat some snacks, talk, and hangout.
COST:
Unfortunately we are unable to do this event for free.  Each student will need to pay $12 USD for their admission ticket and each student will also need to bring at least $10-20 USD for spending money once at the fair. (You will want this spending money to buy some food to eat and/or beverages to drink)
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
-Your $12 for your ticket
-Your $10-20 spending money
-Your cell phone (if you have one)
-Your digital camera (to take pictures for the scavenger hunt and also for yourself)
-Wear good shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking
